OREANDA-NEWS  The European Union (EU) should strengthen sanctions against Russia. This was stated by Estonian Prime Minister Kaya Kallas, the Telegram channel Brief reports.

According to her, this may be painful for European states, but it is this step that will help end the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

She also said that if EU countries refrain from sanctions in order to benefit, military action will last much longer.

Earlier, Callas announced the announcement of Russia as a long-term threat to NATO. According to her, the alliance should be engaged in "deterring Russia."
