OREANDA-NEWS Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian leader Masoud Peseshkian during his visit to the United States to participate in the UN General Assembly. This was reported by the Sabah newspaper.
According to the publication, it is planned that most of the meetings will be held at the Turkish House, a symbol of Turkish diplomacy in New York. Erdogan is expected to meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic.
Earlier, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he was ready to hold a meeting with Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad. Such a step is expected to help establish stability and peace in the Middle East.
