OREANDA-NEWS American entrepreneur and founder of SpaceX Corporation Elon Max connected to a telephone conversation between Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and re-elected former US President Donald Trump on Wednesday, November 6. This is reported by the Axios portal with reference to high-ranking sources.

The publication points out that Musk's participation in the conversation may demonstrate what an important political role he will play under the Trump administration in the White House. During the call, the businessman assured Zelensky that he would continue to supply the Ukrainian army with Starlink terminals.

"Private conversations between Trump and his team with Zelensky and his advisers over the past two months, including on Wednesday, have been somewhat more encouraging for Ukrainians," the interlocutors pointed out to Axios, noting the concern of the Ukrainian side over the possible termination of American military support.

In October, Zelensky said that if Trump wins the election, he will not be able to convince Ukraine to make territorial concessions to end the conflict.
