Electric Vehicles Accounted for Almost Half of Cars Sold in Norway

OREANDA-NEWS. Today, Norway is one of the leading countries where sales of electric cars are growing in quite impressive numbers.
So, just under half of all cars sold today are equipped with an electric motor. To be precise, 48% of all cars sold are electric. The country's leadership states that the increase in the number of sales of electric cars is connected with the plan, according to which by 2025 all the machines operated in the country should be electric.
The most sought-after electric car in the country is considered Tesla. Only in June of this year, 3760 cars of this brand were sold. Since the beginning of 2019, 12,605,000 cars have been sold. In percentage terms, the sales rate is equal to 16.2% of the total number of cars sold in Norway.
