OREANDA-NEWS. In Kazakhstan, the police detained about 100 people during actions against early presidential elections. This is reported by the Azattyk radio station (a division of Russian radio). The protesters shout “boycott!”, “Bostandқ!” (“Freedom!”) And “police with the people”, calling on the police to stop the arrests. Protesters require fair elections. According to Joanna Lillis, Eurasianet journalist, about a hundred people have already been detained in Almaty alone.
