Monsis noted that linguists who help people recognize speech and improve the quality of service also work with voices from around the world. However, personal data, the names and surnames of people that Google employees are listening to remain unknown. Employees are also strictly prohibited to transcribe conversations or other sounds in the background of user speeches.

“These experts analyze and transcribe a small number of queries, helping us better understand these languages,” Monsis added.
