OREANDA-NEWS According to law enforcement, the teenager was arrested early Monday morning by Toronto Regional Police. The suspect was detained thanks to an international investigation conducted by the Toronto Police Department together with the FBI.

It is reported that the detained young man, in the popular Omegle video chat, brandished an object similar to a weapon. Also, the teenager threatened to use this weapon at the Pride on the Block mass event, which was scheduled to be held on June 12 in Florida. The fact that the detainee himself claimed during his threats that he would allegedly live in the area of the planned event helped to find the suspect. During the detention, the very object that the teenager was waving in a video chat was seized. It turned out to be a real gun, and now the teenager is charged with threatening to commit a mass shooting. Also, the US special services are seeking his extradition to the United States, where an investigation has already been launched into the incident.
