OREANDA-NEWS. American corporation Boeing is in contact with representatives of Ukraine in connection with the crash of the aircraft owned by Ukraine International Airlines in Iranian capital Tehran.

“This is a tragic event and our heartfelt thoughts are with the crew, passengers, and their families. We are in contact with our airline customer and stand by them in this difficult time. We are ready to assist in any way needed,” Boeing wrote on its Twitter page.

Earlier on January 8, a number of foreign airlines suspended flights or changed the flight routes of their aircrafts over Iran and Iraq in connection with the incident.
