Blinken: the G7 Summit will Discuss the Possibility of Resolving the Situation in Ukraine through Diplomacy

OREANDA-NEWS US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that at the upcoming G7 summit, politicians will raise the issue of the possibility of a diplomatic solution to the conflict in Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
“The consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine will be discussed in the coming days, in particular, the question of whether it is possible to find a diplomatic solution, as well as preparation for a situation if such a possibility does not exist,” he said after a meeting with German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock.
Earlier, US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said that the leaders of the G7 countries (the group includes the UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, France, Japan and the US) will discuss new measures at the summit to isolate Russia from the world economy.
