Belarus has registered its own vaccine against COVID-19

OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Health of Belarus announced the creation and registration of a domestic vaccine for medical prevention of COVID-19.
"Clinical trials of the domestic vaccine against COVID-19 have been completed. Today, a significant project has been implemented for the Republic of Belarus, the result of which was the creation of a domestic inactivated whole-virion vaccine for medical prevention COVID-19," the press service of the ministry said.
It notes that the vaccine is registered at the Center for Expertise and Testing of the Ministry of Health.
Among the vaccine developers are the scientific and practical centers of epidemiology and microbiology, transfusiology and biomedical technologies, Lothios, the Belarusian State Medical University, the Belmedpreparaty enterprise, the Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences, JSC Belvitunifarm.
In Belarus, during the pandemic, they were vaccinated with the Russian drug Sputnik V, Sputnik Lite, as well as the Chinese vaccine Vero Cell.
