Ministers Dacic and Mevlut Cavusoglu in Support of Intensified Serbia-Turkey Cooperation
OREANDA-NEWS. In the talks between First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu mutual commitment was noted to further development of political, economic and cultural cooperation, as well as in the energy and tourism sectors.
Both officials pointed out that this was of particular importance for the stability in the region, reduction of tensions and its prosperity.
In the context of deepening the political dialogue they agreed on promoting cooperation between the two countries' Diplomatic Academies, as well as on sharing experiences concerning the state of the art electronic document storage system used at the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Both sides acknowledged the need to intensify economic cooperation, which was of mutual interest and benefit, and in this context, set the objective of reaching annual trade volume of USD 1 billion.
