OREANDA-NEWS. Moldova will have a strengthened security system and in compliance with the European standards in the domain. Executive approved at the today meeting, concept of information security, which provides a series of measures combating and preventing threats arising on rapidly evolving technologies.

The Concept has its goal to protect the interests of individuals, society and the state in the field of information, as well as assurance of society’s information security. The document provides a comprehensive approach and effective mechanisms to prevent and combat cyber-crime, without fundamental human rights’ infringing.

The authorities also intend to create a system for collecting and analyzing data on the sources of threat to information security and its consequences, to improve the specialists’ training system and develop a series of legislative changes to bring Moldovan legislation in line with the new provisions.

The Government has to be submit the document to Parliament for adoption.
