Russia's September Liquids Production Hits New High
The rise in production coincided with the end of maintenance at several large fields. The previous record was set at 10.87mn b/d in January 2016. Rosneft increased crude production by 102,500 b/d to 3.95mn b/d in September from August, following the end of repair works on the North Chaivo field in Sakhalin and the De-Castri terminal in the Khabarovsk region, which exports Sokol crude.
Rosneft subsidiary RN-Shelf Far East, which produces the Sokol crude, boosted production at the field by 47,100 b/d to 55,600 b/d in September. Gazpromneft's production rose by 43,000 b/d to 903,000 b/d.
