OREANDA-NEWS. India has decided to set up a BRICS chair, documentation centre and archive as the first such initiatives under its presidency aimed at promoting the concept and importance of the grouping of five major world economies.

The decisions were taken at the BRICS Academic Forum organised in Goa by the MEA last week and attended by officials and academicians of the member states.

India is taking several initiatives to mark its presidency of the grouping.
