There is Connection between Migration and Deterioration of Internal Security
OREANDA-NEWS. We may beyond doubt observe a connection between mass migration and the deterioration of the internal security situation of the countries concerned, the Prime Minister’s chief advisor for internal security said on Thursday at a public forum held in Dunakeszi.
This is testified to by the acts of terrorism, the increase in crime rates, violent acts committed against women, and the shaken stability of the social system, György Bakondi said.
He reiterated: 1.5 to 2 million have entered the very heart of Europe in the past year to year and a half without controls of any kind. „We do not know who they are, with what identities and objectives they came here, we often do not even know how old they are and what their qualifications are”.
Mr Bakondi underlined: wherever migrants are taken in in large numbers, the internal security situation has evidently deteriorated.
The chief advisor drew attention to the fact that legislative acts are being created in the European Union which would result in the letting in of masses of people without an upper limit and their automatic distribution among all Member States.
The position of the Hungarian Government has been clear right from the beginning, the chief advisor said.
Europe must be able to protect its external borders. It must enforce the relevant rules of the EU and the nation states. Large camps must be set up outside the territory of the EU where these people would be gathered together, and where they would be subjected to security screening to ensure that only those should be allowed into Europe who are genuine political refugees, about whom all information is available, and in whose case there is a specific country that intends to take them in, Mr Bakondi said.
Bence Tuzson, State Secretary for Government Communication at the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister reiterated: the internal security implications of the problem are all the more relevant to the people living in Dunakeszi because the institution where unaccompanied minors are received is in the nearby locality of Fót.
