OREANDA-NEWS. The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay on the eve of their National Day (August 25, 2016).

In a message to His Excellency Mr. Tabare Vazquez, the President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I convey warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of Uruguay on the occasion of your National Day.

India and Uruguay enjoy warm and friendly relations – which in recent years have strengthened and diversified in a number of areas of our shared interest. I am confident that our mutually beneficial cooperation will assume greater depth and substance in the coming years.
