OREANDA-NEWS A spill of petroleum products was found in the water area of the port city of Kronstadt in the Leningrad region. The press service of the transport police of the Northwestern Federal District (NWFD) drew attention to the situation.

It is clarified that the source of water pollution was a sawn and half-submerged vessel. As a result, environmentalists who arrived at the site took samples of fuels and lubricants for subsequent examination. All the circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated.
