OREANDA-NEWS A new educational project on donation was launched in Russia on Transfusiologist's Day.

We are talking about the "+Me" project, which is designed to increase public awareness and develop the donor movement in Russia. Educational videos from experts, useful articles and answers to the most common questions about blood donation and its components are available on the site. In addition, the portal has an interactive online test that will help potential donors figure out if they have contraindications to donation.

The initiative was made possible thanks to the support of transfusiologists. The creators of the project hope that it will help increase the number of regular donors and attract the younger generation of Russians to the culture of donation.

The experts of the project were chief freelance transfusiologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Tatyana Gaponova, head of the transfusiology department of the Dmitry Rogachev Children's Medical Center Pavel Trakhtman, Deputy head of the bone marrow transplantation department of the center Olga Molostova and others.

In June, it was reported that the Russian donated blood 67 times and became an honorary donor.
