On Monday evening, the head of the republic announced the introduction of mandatory vaccinations for medical personnel. Macron also said that from the beginning of August in France, restaurants, bars, shopping centers, airplanes and long-distance trains will require a sanitary pass, indicating vaccination or a negative test result for COVID-19. From July 21, a sanitary pass will be required when visiting festivals, performances, amusement parks.

In addition, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the introduction of compulsory vaccination for doctors in France and all workers in hospitals.
"For healthcare workers, as well as non-medical personnel who work in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes ... mandatory vaccinations will be introduced without delay," Macron said in his address to the nation on Monday. He noted that the mandatory vaccination will be extended to volunteers and those who take care of patients at home.

According to the French Minister of Health, among young people there was a large percentage of those who, for various reasons, preferred to wait with vaccination.

"And last night after Macron's appeal, there were about one million records for vaccinations ... And this is thousands of lives saved in a few hours," Veran said on the air of BFMTV.
