OREANDA-NEWS The European Space Agency (ESA) will build a simulator for the promising Gateway lunar station. This is reported by the publication European Spaceflight.

When creating the simulator, it is planned to use the developments obtained during the development of the European Enhanced Exploration Exercise Device (E4D) machine, currently undergoing tests on the International Space Station. The E4D equipment, developed by the Danish side, allows you to perform a variety of physical exercises, in particular, strength training, cycling, rowing and tug of war.

In August, ArsTechnica, citing the head of NASA, Bill Nelson, reported that research at the promising Gateway lunar station can take place without human participation.

In March, European Spaceflight drew attention to the fact that Daniel Neuenschwander, Director of Human and Robot Research at ESA, published photos of the International Habitat (I-Hab) and Habitat and Logistics Outpost (HALO) modules of the American Gateway lunar station under construction on LinkedIn (blocked in the territory of the Russian Federation).
