OREANDA-NEWS Catherine Philp, a journalist for the British Times newspaper, illegally visited the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, releasing relevant material.

It is noted that the journalist visited the city of Sudzha and one of the nearby villages, where she witnessed how the Ukrainian military staged screenings of video materials to the local population, with the help of which they are trying to discredit the Russian army.

Earlier, journalists of the British newspaper Sun illegally visited the territory of the Kursk region, as reported in the material published in the publication. It says that the journalists, accompanied by the Ukrainian military, visited the Russian city of Sudzha and nearby villages. In particular, we are talking about the editor of the publication on military topics, Jerome Starkey. The newspaper publishes photographs and a report taken during the illegal entry into the territory of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, correspondents of the German media corporation Deutsche Welle*, the French newspaper Croix and the Latvian television channel Latvian Television illegally visited the Kursk region, which are included in the list of media outlets against which measures have been introduced to restrict broadcasting and Internet access in the Russian Federation. Materials that their journalists illegally visited the territory of the Russian Federation were also published by the American editions of the Washington Post and the Daily Beast and the British newspaper Sun.

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that each case of illegal penetration of media employees into the Kursk region will be considered separately, this applies to journalists from all countries.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that the Italian Ambassador to Moscow, Cecilia Piccioni, was strongly protested in connection with the actions of the film crew of the Italian Rai television and radio company, also included in the list of media outlets against which measures were introduced to restrict broadcasting and Internet access in the Russian Federation, illegally entered the territory of Russia to cover the criminal terrorist attack of Ukrainian militants on Kursk region.
