OREANDA-NEWS. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is developing a program aimed to support Ukrainian farming, in particular in the livestock breeding sector and pledges readiness to submit the said initiative to the Parliament this autumn as well as to begin financing. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during A Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Friday.

«We established a working group of representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and farmers' associations, moreover the meeting will be held next week. We will work out and present the targeted farm support program, which will include targeted support for livestock farming and farms. It is very essential for us to give an impetus for the development of farming in the countryside, we intend to support not large holdings, but directly small farm enterprises that will become the basis of our agricultural sector. It is of utmost importance for us to realize the full potential of agriculture, crop production, cattle breeding as well as processing», the Prime Minister said in a statement.
