OREANDA-NEWS On Thursday, 5 October, the President of Latvia, Raimonds Vējonis, awarded Latvia’s highest award, the Order of the Three Stars, to EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Phil Hogan, in Riga Castle.

The Chapter of Orders decided to award the Order of the Three Stars, Third Class, to Mr Phil Hogan, appointing him a Commander of the Order of the Three Stars in recognition of his significant contribution to the decision-making on market stabilization measures, so important for Latvia.
