OREANDA-NEWS Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini and Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström will meet in Helsinki on Thursday 16 March. The Ministers will discuss, among other things, ways to deepen the foreign and security policy cooperation between Finland and Sweden, the future of the European Union and the development of the Union’s security policy cooperation, as well as topical international and regional questions.

Foreign Ministers Soini and Wallström meet bilaterally twice a year to take stock of their strategic objectives aiming at closer cooperation. Their previous meeting was organised in Stockholm in August 2016.
