Prime Minister congratulates Romanian people on National Day of Romania

OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister Pavel Filip participated in a reception organized in Chisinau on the occasion of the National Day of Romania on 1 December. He conveyed a congratulatory message to the Romanian people and thanked the neighboring state for the continued support offered to Moldova.
«I want to offer to all the Romanians cordial congratulations and wishes of peace, wellbeing and prosperity both on behalf of the Moldovan government and on my own behalf», he said.
The premier expressed gratitude for the unconditional support given by Romania to our country. He listed the transfer of school minibuses, renovation of kindergartens, restoration of cultural objectives, reminding about the four Romanian heroes who lost their lives in the tragic accident in Haragas. «When Moldova felt harder, when foreign financing was blocked, Romania was the country that gave us a 150-million-euro loan», he said.
At the same time, the premier noted that the events that took place during this year helped deepen the friendship and cooperation relations between Moldova and Romania. In this context, the strong and positive message was mentioned in support of our country, submitted by Romania on the sidelines of the Eastern Partnership Summit. Filip assured that the Moldovan authorities will remain focused on implementing reforms to achieve the European integration goal.
