Official part of Belarus President’s visit to UAE over
OREANDA-NEWS. The official part of the visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to the United Arab Emirates is over. On 3-4 November the head of state will stay with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan on theitation of the Emirati side.
It is expected that the final meeting of the Belarusian President with the UAE leadership will take place on 5 November. This meeting will sum up the results of the visit; its participants will discuss concrete joint projects which have been worked out these days.
As part of the visit to the Middle East region, Alexander Lukashenko paid an official visit to the State of Qatar and a working visit to the United Arab Emirates. In Qatar the President held talks with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The sides agreed to advance trade, economic, and investment cooperation to a brand-new level. They also signed a package of documents to promote cooperation in various fields, including finance, healthcare, academic and scientific interaction of universities. The Development Banks of Belarus and Qatar signed a memorandum of understanding.
