OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has received numerous Independence Day greetings from foreign leaders, politicians and cultural figures.

The head of state has received Independence Day greetings from many heads of state of the CIS, the European Union, and other foreign leaders. These include Pope Francis, Queen Elisabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Emperor Akihito of Japan, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, King Abdullah II of Jordan.
