OREANDA-NEWS Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman at a meeting of the Government on Wednesday presented a modernized conference room of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Government is introducing new equipment and full electronic governance system, thereby targeting to increase the openness of its activities and cut expenditures, explained the Prime Minister.

"We need to enhance the transparency of Government’s work and our effectiveness. Moreover, we should reduce expenses on operations of the Government. Hence, the introduction of new technologies enables us to be open, transparent, efficient, and be quick in adopting necessary decisions. To do this, we are launching complete electronic governance inside the Government", said the Head of Government.

So, the equipment for the work of sessions of the Cabinet of Ministers and appropriate software have been upgraded, in particular the process of fixation of decision-making, text processing, electronic document circulation, explained the Prime Minister.

Such innovations will contribute to reducing the costs of operations and increasing the openness of Government activities, said Volodymyr Groysman.

The launched and updated software and hardware complex of information support of the meetings of the Government will provide the participants with modern audiovisual systems and tools for various events (meetings, teleconferences, etc.), which are held in the boardroom at the top level.

They will greatly enhance the effectiveness of communication in the course of relevant activities and allow the use of information materials in electronic form.

The complex of hardware and software systems of the small boardroom of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will constitute a single information and communication environment offering an effective access to information by those attending the meetings and exchange of information between them in the process of discussion and decision making on current issues of development of the country, draft Government regulations and the like.
