Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus O.Kravchenko visits Greece
OREANDA-NEWS On May 18-19, 2017 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, visited Greece to take part in the inter-ministerial consultations, and a number of bilateral meetings.
On May 18, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, met with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, George Katrougkalos, the Honorary Consul of Belarus in Thessaloniki, Boris Mouzenidis, and the diplomatic adviser to the Speaker of the Greek Parliament, Spiros Theoharopoulos.
During the meetings, the parties discussed the entire range of issues on the bilateral agenda. O.Kravchenko passed the message by the leadership of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to the Speaker of the Parliament of Greece, Nikos Voutsis, where prospects for expansion of the inter-parliamentary dialogue were indicated.
Within the framework of consultations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other spheres, development of dialogue between Belarus and the EU, interaction in multilateral organizations, as well as exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda.
Greek delegation was led by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dimitrios Paraskevopoulos.
On the same day, in the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry O.Kravchenko participated in the presentation of economic and investment potential of the Republic of Belarus for representatives of Greek business circles.
