OREANDA-NEWS The day of probation bodies’ employee will be marked annually on 12 January. A decision to this effect was approved today during the meeting of the Cabinet of ministers.

The setting of the professional holiday comes to support the recognition of the importance of probation bodies, facilitate promotion institution in society and highlight their role of the justice system reform.

As far as ten years ago from now, on 12 January 2007, the probation body became operational. The institution’s employees provide assistance and counseling to promote the benefits of custodial sentences and prevent from committing new crimes.
