OREANDA-NEWS   "Lucifer" brought hellish heat to Italy. This is the name of the anticyclone due to which a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius has already been established in Sicily. 

Dozens of cities, including Rome, have a red weather rating, and wildfires have broken out in the south of the country. Sardinia, Sicily and Abruzzo are now in the disaster zone.

Tens of thousands of hectares are engulfed in flames. Thousands of residents are forced to leave their homes and move to safe places. The fire burns out not only forests, but also vineyards. The damage caused by the heat to the agricultural sector, experts have already estimated at one billion euros.
