Prime Minister Kaja Kallas also noted that the ban on the activities of Russian companies in Estonia would help ensure security.
“The ban on Yandex sends a clear signal that companies cooperating with Russian intelligence agencies have no place in Estonia. We also suggested that the European Union impose sanctions against Yandex,” Kallas said.

Estonian ISPs will have to restrict access to Yandex N.V. websites and applications that are related to taxi services. In addition, app stores should limit the ability to download Yandex apps and stop updating apps.
