Wizz Air Plans to Resume Flights from Vienna to Europe from May 1

OREANDA-NEWS. Hungarian airline Wizz Air plans from May 1 to resume flights from Vienna to 20 destinations in Europe. This was reported on Friday by the Austrian Press Agency, citing a representative of this airline.
Regardless of the coronavirus pandemic and flight restrictions, the company plans to resume flights to 20 destinations in Europe, including Milan, Tel Aviv and Valencia. In March, Austria introduced border control in March to combat the spread of coronavirus. Vienna has banned flights from a number of countries, including Russia and Ukraine. All arrivals from abroad are required to be in isolation for 14 days. Austrian Airlines suspended flights until May 17, 2020.
On April 20, the Belarusian Embassy in Austria reported that Belavia Airlines began daily flights between Minsk and Vienna on April 25.
