OREANDA-NEWS. Railways of Ukraine imposed a ban on the acceptance of railcars on their infrastructure, which are equipped with wheelsets produced by two Chinese companies. This follows from the telegram of Mikhail Sapetov, head of the carriage department of the Central Directorate of Infrastructure of Russian Railways.

"The railway administration of Ukraine by telegram dated May 6, 2020 informed about the ban on the acceptance of wagons equipped with seamless wheels manufactured by Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd and Taiyuan Heavy Industry Railway Transit Equipment Co., Ltd to the infrastructure of Ukrainian railways", the telegram says.

In this regard, Russian Railways instructed its units to prohibit the preparation and supply of wagons for loading, as well as the design of empty wagons equipped with solid-rolled wheels manufactured by the above companies, assigned to the railways of Ukraine, or transit through Ukraine.
