OREANDA-NEWS. Two Russians, who did not have a new coronavirus, on Wednesday left the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which ends quarantine. As correspondents of the Russian media from the scene, the embassy of the Russian Federation met them and put them in the car of the diplomatic mission. The diplomatic mission noted that the Russians will leave Japan later in accordance with their own plans.
According to the Japanese Ministry of Health, the first group includes about 500 people in whom no coronavirus was detected. At the Russian Embassy in Tokyo, the Russian media were previously informed that two Russian citizens were included in the number of people leaving the ship. In general, the first group is dominated by older people.
Diamond Princess cruise ship left Yokohama on January 20 and returned on February 3. Among the passengers was a Chinese citizen, who discovered a new coronavirus and which, apparently, was the source of infection on the liner. He descended on January 25 in Hong Kong. By decision of the Japanese authorities, on the ship, where there were about 3.7 thousand passengers and crew members, a two-week quarantine was announced on February 5.
