"Due to the derailment of freight train cars on the Seletkan - Ledyanaya stage, 2 passenger trains are currently delayed: No. 326 Neryungri - Khabarovsk; No. 9 Vladivostok - Moscow. The maximum delay time is up to 5 hours," the message says.
It is specified that a comfortable temperature is maintained in the cars of the delayed trains. Passengers who are four hours or more late are provided with meals. Information about delays is sent via SMS messages to passengers waiting at stations and train stations,
The coal wagons derailed on the afternoon of May 31 on the stretch between the Seletkan and Ledyanaya stations of the Trans-Baikal Railway in the Shimanovsky district of the Amur region. Train traffic is temporarily restricted on this section, and flight delays are expected. Recovery trains have been sent to the place of the derailment. According to this fact, investigators opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety and operation of railway transport, which caused major damage).
