Toyota is preparing the premiere of a new generation of Yaris, which will be held next year.  A new platform, called GA-B, also debuts on this model.  It is considered to be derived from the "cart" TNGA, which is based on European Toyota models, including the Prius, Corolla, Camry and RAV4.  The new platform allows you to adjust the wheelbase, width and height, suggesting that the Japanese brand will sooner or later expand the range of compact cars.

 “The new platform is made of modern wear-resistant materials, so we were able to make a high-quality and durable frame.  The main achievement of the new technology is the ability to install any type of suspension on a car with this platform, the ability to create a unique design and a significant improvement in the chassis.  Cars with such a frame are ideal for lovers of vehicles with lowered height and wide strut, ”said Takeshi Utiyamada, Chairman of the Board.

 The first car created on the GA-B platform will be Toyota Yaris of a new generation.  Then it is used for restyled Coroll and Priuses.  It is possible that the next generation of the Toyota RAV4 crossover will be created on it.
