OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Internal Affairs has developed a draft resolution, which provides for the introduction of the state register of vehicles in Russia.

Оfficial representative of the Interior Ministry Irina Wolf, it is planned that this document will enter into force on August,  4. "The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has developed a draft decree of the government of the Russian Federation" on the state register of vehicles", which provides for the formation and maintenance of the register, the establishment of the order of access to the information contained therein, as well as the issuance of extracts with data from the register to interested persons and organizations. The creation of the state register of vehicles will ensure their state registration, as well as interdepartmental information interaction in the provision of public services and the performance of public functions in electronic form," she said.

Initial formation of the register will be carried out from data on the cars consisting on the state account as of the date of entry into force of the resolution.

"The entry into force of the draft resolution of the government of the Russian Federation is envisaged from August 4, 2019. Currently, the draft resolution undergoes the procedure of public discussion on a Portal for posting information on the development of Federal Executive bodies of draft regulations and the results of their public discussion", - said Wolf.

Earlier was reported that Russians will be able to register a new car in the showroom without a visit to the road police departments in 2019. In addition, a new standard of state registration marks for vehicles has been developed, which will not affect already registered vehicles.
