OREANDA-NEWS. According to the Amur State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, today the sixth launch will take place from the Vostochny cosmodrome and the only one this year. The Soyuz 2.1B rocket will go into space, which will launch 36 foreign satellites into orbit. This is the first commercial launch to be carried out at the Amur cosmodrome. It will take place at 21:26 local time.

The day before, the Vostochny cosmodrome was visited by Dmitry Rogozin, General Director of the State Corporation Roscosmos. He inspected the construction site in the Zvezdny microdistrict and the apartments where the workers will live. Then he examined the launch pad for the Angara-class launch vehicle. I checked the command post, the centralized and launch facility, and the oxygen technological unit.

Also, the head of Roscosmos was reported on the progress of construction of the meteorological complex and water intake. Upon completion of the inspection of the construction of facilities, Dmitry Rogozin held a meeting.

After this Dmitry Rogozin plans to come to Omsk on an official visit. He should arrive on Saturday, December 19th.
