OREANDA-NEWS  Aeroflot's Tu-214 aircraft will be designed for 170-175 passengers. The characteristics of the new airliners were revealed by RBC with reference to the airline's correspondence with the manufacturer, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).

The first 11 aircraft will have a two-class cabin layout: 12 business class seats and 163 economy seats. The maximum capacity will be 175 seats, however, when flying over water, 5 seats will be dismantled and life rafts will be installed in their place.
