SpaceX Postponed the Launch of Satellites Starlink
OREANDA-NEWS. The company SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk, has postponed the launch of the launch vehicle Falcon 9 with a group of 60 Starlink microsatellites for a day.
“Standing down from today’s launch of Starlink. Rocket and payload are healthy; teams will use additional time to complete data reviews and are now working toward backup opportunity on Monday, November 23 at 9:34 p.m. but keeping an eye on recovery weather,” the company’s statement published on Twitter reads.
According to Space.com, the planned launch could be SpaceX’s 23rd launch in 2020 and the 100th flight of the Falcon 9 rocket, as well as SpaceX’s 16th Starlink mission.
The company launches Starlink satellites to create a global Internet network and improve web coverage around the world. SpaceX sent its first satellites into orbit in 2019.
