SkyUp Launches Flight to Madeira

OREANDA-NEWS The Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp is launching a direct flight to the Portuguese autonomous region of Madeira, which in early July announced that it would allow visiting tourist islands with any Covid-19 vaccines or PCR tests.
As it is stated in the message of the airline, the first flight Kiev - Funchal will take off on July 24. A return flight from Funchal to Kiev is also planned.
“We will fly there and back every Saturday”, - said SkyUp.
The carrier noted that in order to enter the territory of the island, citizens of Ukraine (with the exception of children under 12 years old) must have: a special form filled in 48 - 12 hours before boarding the plane; a certificate of vaccination if the full course is completed at least 14 days before arrival on the island; or : a document certifying recovery from Covid-19 up to 90 days prior to arrival and medical confirmation of recovery; or : a negative PCR test done no more than 72 hours before arrival in the country; there is need for tourists planning to travel between the islands of Madeira and Porto Sana, a negative rapid antigen test done no more than 48 hours before arrival at your destination; from July 2, 2021, upon returning from Portugal, it is imperative to do a rapid antigen test at Boryspil airport.
