OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian concern AvtoVAZ has started selling the updated Lada Vesta with localized systems. This is reported by the brand's press service.

The updated package includes a domestic directional stability system (ESC, included in the basic version of the car), side airbags, three-stage heated front seats, a rear-view camera with dynamic trajectory lines, front parking sensors, a blind spot monitoring system and LED fog lights. The cars will also be equipped with an electric mirror folding system, rain and light sensors and electric windows with AUTO mode.

According to representatives of the carmaker, the above options in various fillings will cost from 11 to 74 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration.

Dmitry Kostromin, Vice President for sales and Marketing of the domestic AvtoVAZ concern, said that the test assembly of Lada Iskra cars should begin in Russia by the end of 2024. Currently, the preparation for the production of the new model is going according to plan. Now work is underway to set up the conveyor from which these cars will leave.

Serial production of the flagship Lada Aura business sedan will begin in the coming days. New business class cars will start rolling off the assembly line in Tolyatti, explained Maxim Sokolov, president of the company. The concern previously stated that the cost of the basic version of the new Lada model will be 2.6-2.8 million rubles.
