OREANDA-NEWS   Russian tourists have declared a hunger strike on a cruise ship stuck on the way to Antarctica, writes Telegram channel Mash.

"People were especially upset when the company refused to reimburse them for the full cost of the holiday. In protest, tourists from Russia and China went on a hunger strike to get their blood money back," the publication says.

As indicated in the article, on November 22, the ship SH DIANA got stuck due to an engine failure, which is why the ship will not be able to reach various islands and attractions in Antarctica.

The message emphasizes that the cost of tickets ranged from 485 to 694 thousand rubles.

It is also noted that Chinese tourists threaten to take control of the ship.
