“The vessel was towed to the area of Tikhaya Bay. At the moment faint white smoke is observed at the stern of the fishing deck. Now the service of the Morspas will be engaged in pumping out water and eliminating the bank, if necessary, the residual places from the fire. Later, the place of mooring to the berth will be determined,” the message says.
On the morning of March 6, 12 miles abeam of Askold Island in the Sea of Japan, a ship with 30 fishermen on board caught fire. The fire occurred in the fish shop. The shipowner noted that when a fire broke out, the sailors themselves began to extinguish it. There were no casualties, the crew members were evacuated and taken to Vladivostok.
