OREANDA-NEWS T On Russian roads will begin to lay SuperСover, which will be able to "consider" climate and traffic intensity on the roads.

Tests of this technology lasted for three years. The service life of the new road surface will last from four to five to 12 years, major repairs will be carried out every 24 years instead of the current 12 years.

The asphalt paving method is based on the SuperСover technology used in the USA and the European Union. To create asphalt use a special viscous material, sand, gravel. It also provides for the use of old asphalt in the production of new coatings. "Savings will be achieved through the reuse of materials and reduce logistics costs", — told the newspaper in Rosavtodor.

In Rosavtodor emphasize that the current system of quality assessment and selection of asphalt according to GOST 9128 is outdated. Now by order of the Federal Agency is developing a new standard for SuperСover, which will also include GOST.

SuperСover already laid on the tracks A-114 Vologda — Tikhvin, M-5 "Ural", And 108 "Bolshoi ring", "Tauris", and on the approach to the Crimean bridge from Kerch. In total, about 550 km of Federal highways have been built using the new technology. In the next two years the Agency is planning to put another 1 thousand km of roads with superstardom. Now the new method is actively used in Tatarstan and Bashkiria.

In November, Rosavtodor allowed road services to lay asphalt at a temperature of plus 5 to minus 10 degrees and in conditions of snow and rain. It is forbidden to carry out works only in case of heavy precipitation — more than 5 mm.

"We need to talk to chemists, physicists, geologists. It sets Rosavtodor standards. It is necessary to it with requirements which are fixed in normative legal acts. Until now, such permission was not", - told RBC Chairman of the all-Russian public movement of motorists Victor Pokhmelkin.
