OREANDA-NEWS A private Bombardier RA-73550 aircraft of the Russian airline RusJet was banned from refueling in the city of El Calafate in Argentina.
According to the newspaper, the reason for the refusal to provide fuel by local airports was related to international sanctions against Russia.
"The plane was unable to refuel in El Calafat... and stayed... on the side of the runway during a 24-hour visit of passengers to the area of the Perito Moreno glacier," the sources of the publication said. Later, the aircraft went to refuel in the city of Asuncion in Paraguay.
It is noted that there is no written document in the Argentine aviation regulations prohibiting refueling of aircraft with Russian registration. At the same time, oil companies operating on the territory of a Latin American country avoid possible punitive measures applied by the United States to enterprises providing assistance to aircraft under the flag of Russia.
Earlier in April, the pilot of a private plane told about the strangest requests of VIP passengers and revealed the cost of flights on business jets. So, on one of the flights, she was asked to "rock the plane up and down" so that while dancing on board it would help passengers move to the beat of the music.
