OREANDA-NEWS   Russian-made Lada XRay cars are no longer available in car dealerships. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the association "Russian Automobile Dealers".

"There are no Lada XRay cars left at dealers in general," the press service said in response to a question from journalists about the termination of the release of this model. Thus, the car finally left the Russian market.

AvtoVAZ previously explained that it does not plan to resume production of a model built on the Renault platform due to its low localization, in particular a large number of foreign components. In recent months, the company has been selling off existing stocks of cars. The Lada XRay assembly was established at the end of 2015 and continued until the spring of 2022, after the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine. Currently, Lada XRay is not available on the automaker's website in the model range available for sale. The company assures that, despite the removal of the car from production, car owners will not face problems servicing the car — warranty and post-warranty service will continue to operate.

Earlier it became known that AvtoVAZ raised the recommended maximum retail cost of maintenance (maintenance) of Lada cars in Russia — from mid-January of this year, the cost of inspection will increase by an average of 4.5 percent across the entire model range. For example, the owners of the discontinued Lada XRay model will pay from 12.1 to 38.2 thousand rubles — 200-4800 rubles more than last year.
