OREANDA-NEWS. Russian airlines for January - November 2019 increased transportation compared to the same period a year earlier by 10.6%, to 119.2 million passengers, follows from the operational data of the Federal Air Transport Agency, published on the agency’s website. Over the past year, Russian airlines carried 116.2 million passengers.

“In just 11 months of this year, Russian airlines transported 119.2 million passengers, an increase of + 10.6% compared to the same period last year, passenger turnover increased to 300 billion passenger kilometers (+ 13%)", the Federal Air Transport Agency said. In November 2019, Russian airlines carried more than 8.9 million passengers (an increase of 4% compared to November last year).

“In November 2019, Aeroflot Airlines serviced 2.8 million passengers, maintaining the volume of air transportation at the level of November last year. S7 Airlines showed an increase in production activity indicators - 1.2 million passengers (+ 47%) and Pobeda - more 871 thousand passengers (+ 37%). More than 692 thousand passengers (+ 12%) used the services of Ural Airlines in November 2019. Russia Airlines transported 612 thousand passengers (-5%) in November", notes the Federal Air Transport Agency.
