OREANDA-NEWS.The Mazda company recalls 938 cars in Russia, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) reports. The Mazda6 and Mazda CX-5 cars which have been sold from April, 2013 to August, 2018 were included in the list. 

The possible defect of the gate of exhaust manifold on diesel motors became the reason. The press service has explained that the gate of exhaust manifold can wedge in closed position. It happens because of the collected deposit.

The investigation of it failure in work of electronic control unit as the motor, and problems in operation of the motor turns out. In the worst option the engine is threatened by full stop and major repair.

Within the service campaign official dealers of Mazda will check gates of inlet valve and, depending on results, will clean or will replace gates of inlet valve. Also the control package will be reprogrammed by the engine. All works will carry out free of charge for owners of crossovers.
